CME720, ComExpress FPGA board with FMC+, based on AMD Kintex Ultrascale

CME720 is a Kintex Ultrascale board in COM Express Type 6 Basic form factor. The board offers an FMC+ site, DDR4 memory, and several other interfaces that make CME720 robust and powerful hardware. The board can be populated with three different pin-compatible FPGA devices the KU060, KU085, and KU115 all in the FLVA1517 package. The board is suitable for a wide range of applications including measurement, development, DSP, data centers, high-performance computing, aerospace, and defense.

The CME720 FMC+ carrier card, is an FPGA peripheral board.

  7. I2C and temperature sensors accessible via COMe connectors
  8. Clock resources for fabric clocks and XCVRs provided by SkyWorks clock generator ICs
  9. HPC FMC+ (Vita 57.4) with 24 XCVRs, 34 LA pairs, 24 HA pairs, and 22 HB pairs
  10. Supported Vadj levels are 0.9V to 1.8V
  11. DDR4 SDRAM memory 64-bit with 8-bit ECC or 72-bit wide 2.5 GB capacity (default part number: MT40A512M16TB-062E)
  12. 1GB of QSPI flash with multi-boot capability
  13. Core power of up to 50A
  14. Embedded USB-JTAG/UART via right angle USB-C connector for programming and debug (realized using FT4232)
  15. 8 user LEDs, 4 red and 4 green
  16. 3 green LEDs for power good indication
  17. User dip switch
  18. FPGA reset available through FTDI, onboard jumper, or through COMe connectors
