FMC-CL, Cameralink frame-grabber

FMC/CL is a Camera Link FMC (FPGA Mezzanine Module) that interfaces to quad BASE, MEDIUM, and dual FULL and Extended FULL Camera Link compatible cameras.
The FMC/CL has a variety of I/O capabilities – 2 x SATA connectors and 4 CL connectors that can also be utilized as a general-purpose I/O.

The Sundance DSP SE120, PXIe800, and PXIe700 boards using the Xilinx Kintex series can support FMC-CL. The IP core for capturing the frames from the camera(s) is included when a Sundance carrier card has been purchased with the FMC-CL. An extension PC bracket and flex cables allow the use of two cameras in Full/Extended modes.

 

FMC-CL-2 supports 2 Cameralink cameras and includes an IP core in binary format (with the purchase of a Sundance carrier card) for supporting the FMC-CL interface to the camera. The Source version is also available. Please contact the Sundance sales team for details.

FMC-CL-4 supports 4 Cameralink cameras and includes an FMC-CL, auxiliary card with PC bracket (offers two additional camera link connectors), 2 152660343 flex cables, standoff, and screws.

When order the PXIe systems, you may also need to order the FMC-CL-PXIe bracket. FC-CL  IP core in binary format for supporting FMC-CL interface to the camera is included with the purchase of a Sundance carrier card. Note

The binaries for the FMC-CL are only included and usable with the purchase of Sundance carrier cards with the FMC-CL module. The binaries can be purchased separately, but Sundance cannot confirm the functionality of these binaries with 3rd party carrier cards. The FMC-CL sources can be purchased if the customer chooses to use a 3rd party carrier card.
