DSP8190 was originally designed for a US Navy project for deployment on ships and aircraft as part of a communication system. It can take a variety of Sundance DSP hardware and comes with powerfull power supply and cooling fans. The front panel has many IO connectors from Ethernet, USB, SATA, and RF. With DSP427 floating point and DSP417 fixed point DSP and DSP318-SX Virtex 4 FPGA modules one can populate this enclosure to create a mega embedded processing system.
